I think so; not even so much the economy - although that has a great impact too. But I think technology has driven it also. My 79 mother is visiting here from Hawaii and she normally would have a bunch of paperbacks to read; now she has a Kindle (my brother bought it for her). She likes it a lot; not to mention watching Korean drama on the internet (my wife got her hooked on it!). Regards, Dean
You're right Dean. It's the double-whammy of technology and the economy. I haven't bought an e-reader yet, although I see the advantages in having one. I'll eventually get one, once my move is complete and my finances stabilized.
